RNR Tire Express is on a roll.
The Tampa-based custom tire and custom wheel franchise business surpassed $200 million in annual revenue in 2020, according to a statement. It closed out the year at $211 million — up 12.1% over 2019.
RNR is also moving up the charts in several business-centric rankings. It’s now No. 175 on Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500, for example, moving up 90 spots on the list, which recognizes performance in brand strength, financial strength, unit growth, corporate support and more. It’s also now the No. 1 franchise in its category, Tires and Wheels, according to the statement.
RNR, which has helped pioneer the rent-to-own tire model, was also named to Franchise Times' magazine’s Top 200+ list of leading franchise brands. The company opened 12 new stores in markets nationwide last year, and it also signed development agreements with experienced entrepreneur groups to open more than 47 new stores, from New York to Arizona. With 144 locations in 26 states, RNR, according to the statement, is actively seeking both single-unit and multi-unit franchise owners across the country.
