FORT MYERS — Iron Ridge Insurance Services has acquired Fort Myers-based Olde Florida Insurance — it’s second acquisition in the past eight months. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The acquisition of the boutique independent insurance agency, say Iron Ridge officials in a statement, will “significantly increase Iron Ridge’s footprint in the personal insurance market.”
“Iron Ridge has always had an outstanding reputation for delivering quality insurance services in the commercial sector,” Iron Ridge Insurance Services CEO Norman Lutz says in the release. “With the Olde Florida team now part of our family, we’re able to serve more customers with personal insurance solutions, including life, health, vision, dental, and Medicare supplements.”
Iron Ridge has primarily served commercial clients, with particular focus on physicians and medical practices, architects and engineers, condominium and homeowners associations, attorneys and legal practices and religious organizations.
The former Olde Florida Insurance staff have transitioned to the Iron Ridge Insurance team, the release states. Licensed insurance professionals Gary Roth, Lori Roth and Larry Browning will be joined by licensed insurance specialist Millie Browning and account executives Patricia Crowther Pierson and Kathy Buelow.
Iron Ridge announced in December it had acquired Centennial Insurance Services, combining two Southwest Florida agencies. “Our team has grown by leaps and bounds in the last year,” Lutz says. “Just last November, we had six employees, and today we have 16 professionals providing outstanding service to our clients.”
Iron Ridge Insurance Services was founded in 2011.
