SARASOTA — Icard Merrill recently announced the addition of attorney Todd Kaplan as a shareholder of the Sarasota-based firm.
Kaplan joined the firm in 2006 with experience in serving clients in the areas of tax, estate planning, and corporate law. A press release says the attorney represents individuals and families in all aspects of estate planning, wealth transfer and business succession.
“Kaplan’s extensive corporate and business experience covers the representation of entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies, and non-profit organizations in all phases of the business life cycle including entity selection, formation, governance, operations, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions,” the statement reads.
The attorney got his start at practicing law in New York.
Icard Merrill is a full-service law firm based in Sarasota. It was founded in 1953. Icard Merrill has offices in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Port Charlotte and St. Petersburg.
