SARASOTA  — Allegiant recently added nonstop service to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Tulsa, Oklahoma from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

The new routes are part of a 22-route expansion across Allegiant’s network. Currently, the airline is offering select flights one-way fares for $49 on the new routes.

“A hallmark of Allegiant’s service is to connect travelers to warmer destinations where they can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure activities,” says Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior VP of revenue and network planning, in a press release. “And we’ve continued that tradition with this expansion by giving customers more affordable, nonstop options to visit Florida, Arizona and California during the fall and winter seasons.”

The Cedar Rapids route will begin November 19, 2021, and the service to Tulsa will begin December 15.

The airline also is adding nonstop flights from Punta Gorda Airport to Bentonville, Arkansas, and Austin, Texas, beginning mid-November.

The flight service to Austin will be offered Sundays and Thursdays with the Bentonville flights going out on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
