LAKEWOOD RANCH — Sarasotan Dr. Marc Bernstein recently became a partner at Florida Digestive Health Specialists.
The organization is one of the largest gastroenterology networks in the state, according to a press release. The partnership began August 1.
Bernstein is a board-certified gastroenterologist who received his medical degree at Florida State University before completing an internal medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship and interventional endoscopy fellowship in New York and Pennsylvania.
He returned to Sarasota in 2019 to join Florida Digestive Health Specialists and be closer to family.
“I’m excited to help FDHS continue to grow and thrive,” Bernstein says in the release.
Florida Digestive Health Specialists was founded in Sarasota in 2011. Since then, the company has grown to more than 350 employees, including 80 providers, at clinic locations throughout the state. The company is headquartered in Lakewood Ranch.
