FORT MYERS — The developers of Hope Preserve, a mixed-used project in central Fort Myers that includes a medical facility and a hotel, are adding two new office buildings to the project.

One building will consist of a 20,000 square-foot, two-story professional office that will be the new headquarters for Stevens Construction Inc., according to a statement. The other building is a planned 27,000 square-foot, two-story specialized medical office, the release adds. The buildings are on a 3.73-acre parcel fronting Metro Parkway, and will be built by Stevens Construction. Hope Preserve is at the Northeast corner of Metro Parkway and Ben C Pratt/6 Mile Cypress Parkway.

Fort Myers-based LSI Cos. has been hired to lease the first floor of the planned Stevens Construction headquarters and the second floor of the specialized medical center, the release states.

“Situated in a prime central location of Lee County, the addition of these new users to the Hope Preserve development is a testament to the continued growth and advancement in the medical and office sectors our market is currently experiencing,” LSI. President Justin Thibaut says in the statement. “The location relative to Gulf Coast Medical Center, major arterial Lee County roadways and Interstate 75, along with the high-quality development created by the owners, has positioned Hope Preserve to be the perfect fit for new Class-A medical and general office users.”

“LSI identified an optimal location for our new headquarters in a thriving yet central area that will position Stevens Construction for continued growth.  We are excited to be among these esteemed organizations in our community,” Stevens Construction President Mark Stevens adds in the statement.

Other projects planned for Hope Preserve include a new Hope Hospice location and a 124-key hotel with additional retail/office/commercial parcels available.
