FORT MYERS — Beck Cos., a diversified construction and home services firm, has acquired ASAP Heating & Cooling & Home Services Inc., which has offices in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and Sarasota counties.

ASAP, which specializes in air-conditioning, heating, duct cleaning and air quality, will operate under its existing name as a division of Beck Cos., according to a statement. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Beck specializes in commercial and residential construction, HVAC services, plumbing, electrical, roofing and real estate services. With the addition of 14 vehicles to their fleet and 18 new employees, the acquisition adds an additional $3 million three million in revenue to Beck, which posted $7.85 million in revenue in 2019. The acquisition also aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy and vision for the future, says owner Derek Beck.

“We are actively growing and are seeking HVAC companies to acquire,” Beck says in the release. “When the owner of ASAP reached out, there was no hesitation on our part to discuss the opportunity. This addition will give us a greater ability to service our customers in the entire Southwest Florida market.”

Derek Beck founded Beck Construction in 2003 as a construction, home services, properties and real estate and roofing firm. Upon acquiring Bryant Roofing in 2018, Beck Construction became a full-service firm that was rebranded as Beck Companies in 2019 to indicate all its subsidiary divisions. It has offices in Fort Myers and LaBelle and serves clients throughout Hendry, Glades, Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Highlands and DeSoto counties.
