Medical care clinic debuts in region with four new locations

MD Now Urgent Care is now in Lee and Manatee counties.

FORT MYERS — MD Now Urgent Care, a rapidly growing medical clinic company, recently opened three Lee County locations and one in Manatee County, expanding its footprint to Fort Myers and Bradenton.  

The Lee County locations are at 15165 McGregor Road; 12748 S. Cleveland Ave.; and 2609 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral. The Manatee clinic is at 4332 Cortez Road W., Bradenton. West Palm Beach-based MD Now Urgent Care now has 55 locations, according to a statement.

“We are very proud to bring our brand of superior health care to the Southwest Florida market,” says Dr. Jeffrey Collins, MD Now’s Chief Medical Officer, in the statement. “The area is in need of easily accessible quality urgent care options and we see an opportunity to make an immediate positive impact in the community.”

All MD Now clinics are open 365 days a year, the release states, and patients are typically treated in an hour or less.  MD Now’s physician-led services include: COVID-19 testing; care for common illnesses and injuries; treatment for sprains, strains, and broken bones; injury care for cuts, scrapes, wounds, and abrasions; lab Testing; digital X-rays and EKGs; preventative health screenings; physicals for school, sports, camp, and work; and vaccinations.
