FORT MYERS — Dave Amdor, a CPA, has been named director of finance at the Lee County Port Authority.
Amdor will be responsible for all financial aspects for LCPA, including overseeing the financial, accounting, budgetary and purchasing functions, according to a statement. He will also manage the Capital Improvement Program for Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field, both in Fort Myers.
Amdor comes to the Port Authority with more than 12 years of public and private accounting and finance experience. Most recently, he was the finance manager for the Omaha Airport Authority, responsible for operating Eppley Field in Nebraska. Before that role, Amdor was the controller and assistant controller at OMA. He started his career as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche in Omaha.
The Lee County Port Authority operates the Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field in Fort Myers. No ad valorem (property) taxes are used for the operation or improvement of either airport.
