SARASOTA — Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport passenger traffic set an all-time record for February in the history of the airport with 232,549 passengers traveling through SRQ.
Passenger traffic for February 2020 was up 54% over February 2019, according to a press release. The airport is also up 54% for the first two months of 2020, with 458,204 passengers using SRQ.
“We are excited to see our twenty-fourth straight month of passenger traffic growth at SRQ," says Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport President and CEO Rick Piccolo in a statement. "With 14 new destinations added this February over last year, passengers are finding more choices and lower fares when using SRQ.”
The airport has nine airlines serving 38 destinations.
