SARASOTA — Realtor Kathleen Comerford, formerly of Keller Williams, has gone out on her own to launch Icon Premium Realty, which she says is an independent, boutique brokerage that will deliver white-glove service to local buyers and sellers.
According to a press release, Comerford’s diverse real estate experience spans brokerage, banking, finance, construction and development. Sarasota-based Icon Premium Realty will serve Sarasota, Bradenton, Palmetto, the Keys, Lakewood Ranch, Palmer Ranch, Osprey, Nokomis, Venice, Englewood, North Port and Port Charlotte.
“The goal of many businesses today is to grow big and to grow fast, often at the expense of customer service and professionalism,” Comerford states in the release. “However, commoditizing customers and their real estate needs can be the unintended outcome of such a strategy.”
She adds, “As real estate professionals, we are invited into people’s homes and businesses at the most sensitive times of transition. This privilege and opportunity should never be treated as ordinary and great care should be exercised each time."
