NAPLES — The Collier Building Industry Association named Amelia Vasquez Executive Officer, promoting her from the associate director position.
Prior to being named associate director in 2019, Vasquez spent seven years as CBIA’s director of member services, according to a statement. In that role she led the efforts for many of CBIA’s most successful programs and events including General Membership meetings, CBIA Mixers, the Parade of Homes and Sand Dollar Awards, the release adds.
“Amelia’s outstanding leadership and communication skills, coupled with her team spirit, have helped create an exceptional environment among our staff, leadership and membership,” CBIA President John Williams says in the release. “In her role as executive officer, Amelia will work hand-in-hand with the CBIA leadership in providing effective advocacy, educational programming, and networking opportunities for members.”
Founded in 1985, CBIA is an association of more than 450 builders, remodelers, interior designers and other housing industry professionals. It is one of 800 state and local associations and operates under the auspices of the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
