FORT MYERS — Area litigator John Miller, a former stockholder at Fort Myers-based Henderson Franklin, has joined the law firm of Boy Agnew Potanovic as a partner.

Miller has experience in defense-side tort litigation and personal injury law, according to the statement, and had been with Henderson Franklin for 12 years. The opportunity to expand his litigation practice was one of his biggest draws in making the move, he says in the release. “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do what I love in a unique environment with folks who are like-minded and are growing something from the ground up,” says Miller.

Miller will continue to serve his existing insurance defense clients while also broadening his work into areas of employment and business litigation, the release adds. "We are thrilled to have John join us as a partner. He is an excellent litigator who perfectly complements the needs of our firm,” partner John Agnew says in the statement. “Equally important, he shares our same business values and commitment to clients, service to the bar, and involvement in the community."

Boy Agnew Potanovic PLLC works with employers, businesses and government entities throughout Southwest Florida.  With the addition of Miller, Boy Agnew Potanovic has plans in motion to launch a new name and refreshed branding for 2021.
