TAMPA — Michael Branca has been named CFO of A-LIGN, a Tampa company that specializes in data security and compliance for more than 2,400 clients.
According to a press release, Branca brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, having previously worked for Community Brands, YourMembership, SafeNet Inc., Numara Software Inc. and Trak Communications. At A-LIGN, he will oversee financial operations and help drive strategic growth.
"Michael has a depth of financial expertise and consistently delivered positive results in high-growth, software-as-a-service software companies," A-LIGN CEO Scott Price states in the release. "As a preferred strategic compliance partner that uniquely combines world-class technology with world-class people, his experience and leadership will take A-LIGN through our next chapter of growth as we gear up to add exponential value to the market and our clients through the use of innovative technology."
Branca’s leadership in his prior roles, the release states, has resulted in four successful exits totaling more than $1.6 billion. Transactions were completed for private equity firms such as The Riverside Co., Vector Capital, TA Associates and Vertias Capital
