TAMPA — Wrench Group, a national home repair and maintenance services company headquartered in Marietta, Ga., has acquired Tampa-based Easy A/C, an air conditioning, electrical and plumbing services firm that was established in 2001 by Keith Westbrook and Dave Whittington.

The transaction marks the third recent Gulf Coast acquisition for Wrench Group, according to a press release. In March, it bought Naples-based Florida Cool, and in April 2019, it acquired CoolToday, headquartered in Sarasota.

According to terms of the deal, Easy A/C, the release states, will combine its operations with CoolToday, with both subsidiaries rebranding as Easy CoolToday.

“The acquisition of Easy A/C further establishes Wrench Group in the Tampa and St. Petersburg markets,” Wrench Group CEO Ken Haines states in the release. “Easy A/C is a strong operation, with an experienced team to continue our growth efforts.”

CoolToday generated $42.3 million in gross revenue in 2019, up from $38 million in 2018.

“Easy A/C is an established and growing organization,” CoolToday President Jaime DiDomenico states in the release, “and I am looking forward to delivering the highest level of quality and service to our customers.”
