SANIBEL — Michele Berger, general manager of 'Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa, has been promoted to oversee a sister facility as well, the West Wind Inn.

Both properties are operated by Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts. “Michele has excelled during her time as general manager at ‘Tween Waters Captiva,” says Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts CEO Doug Babcock in a statement. “Her expanded responsibilities at West Wind Inn will enable Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts to increase our success in operations, guest relations and overall guest satisfaction.”

Berger brings 20 years of retail and hospitality experience to West Wind Inn, the release states. She will now supervise daily operations across many different aspects at both resorts, focusing on nurturing a knowledgeable and customer-centric staff, continuing guest satisfaction and committing to the needs of future travelers, the release adds.

“I absolutely adore the charming beachfront atmosphere at West Wind Inn,” says Berger. “My goal as general manager is to bring my can-do passion for hospitality to both staff members and guests. As we say: shouldn’t every day be this good?”

Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts operates four of Sanibel and Captiva Islands’ top beach resorts that comprise more than 300 accommodations, from beachfront suites to classic seaside cottages.
