NAPLES — Northern Trust Wealth Management named Linda Flewelling Market Executive of Southwest Florida.
Flewelling will be is responsible for the leadership and overall growth of the firm’s offices in Naples, Bonita Springs and Fort Myers, according to a statement.
Flewelling assumes the role with 33 years of experience at Northern Trust. She most recently served as managing director of the wealth advisory team for the West Florida region, according to a statement, where she oversaw a team of investment, fiduciary and private banking professionals. She joined the firm in 1986 as a portfolio manager, working primarily with multi-generational families and individuals on asset management and wealth transfer opportunities, the release adds.
“Linda is a demonstrated business and community leader who is deeply committed to building strong relationships in Southwest Florida,” says Charlie Mueller, Northern Trust’s President of the West Florida Region, in the release. “Her client focus, industry knowledge and business acumen positions us well to continue to drive our business forward.”
Flewelling is also involved in the civic community. She’s on the board of Artis-Naples and is a member of the Forum Club of Southwest Florida. She’s a past chairwoman of the Community Foundation of Collier County; a former Trustee of Naples Community Hospital and former chairwoman of its investment committee; and a past commissioner of the Naples Airport Authority, the release states.
Northern Trust Wealth Management offers wealth management services for affluent individuals and families, family offices, foundations and endowments and privately held businesses. It ranks among the top 10 U.S. wealth managers, with $300.5 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
