SARASOTA — Construction management firm Firmo Construction has added a new superintendent, Andor Keresztes, and promoted Stefan Baron, former business development director, to vice president of operations.
The staff moves come as Sarasota-based Firmo has seen an increase in projects regionally and beyond, according to a press release.
Keresztes has completed projects across multiple industries, including hospitality, medical and corporate clients. He has also worked on multifamily projects. He has experience in occupied and phased projects, including health care, FEMA, high-rise residential projects and complex remodels.
"He brings a strong foundation of experience with over 15 years in the construction industry across multiple industries and will take the safety and quality of our projects to new heights,” says Eric Collin, president of Firmo Construction, in the statement.
Baron, meanwhile, has been part of the Firmo team for 15 years. The firm, according to the statement, has experienced rapid success with its design-build construction management model in the hospitality and commercial sectors with his contributions.
“Stefan is passionate about developing our organization to meet increasing demand throughout the state,” says Collin. “This promotion will further strengthen Firmo’s operations for our team and clients alike and we look forward to our continued growth under Stefan’s helm.”
Firmo Construction was established in 2003. The construction management firm is licensed in over 15 states. The firm was an early adopter of the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) system. Firmo has worked on the building of Tru by Hilton in Sarasota, the ground-up build of Hampton Inn and Suites near Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and the revitalized Homewood Suites by Hilton.
