CLEARWATER — FairWarning, a Clearwater company that specializes in data security and compliance for health care and financial sector clients, has been acquired by Lexington, Mass.-based Imprivata.
Billing itself as the digital identity company for health care, privately held Imprivata, according to a press release, provides identity, authentication and access management solutions that help health care clients overcome workflow, security and compliance challenges.
“Like Imprivata, FairWarning is focused on delivering a world-class experience that ensures customers benefit from the full value of the investment in their solutions,” Imprivata CEO Gus Malezis states in the release. “I’m thrilled about the similarities we share in culture and in our commitment to our customers. We’re excited to make FairWarning a key component of our go-forward analytics and digital identity strategy, and to be able to offer our customers a broader set of solutions from a single vendor that is committed to delivering innovative products and a signature customer experience.”
Terms of the deal, including acquisition cost, were not disclosed in the release.
