FORT MYERS — Seagate Development Group has completed renovations of a technologically advanced laboratory for NeoGenomics in Fort Myers.
As the contractor for this project, Seagate transformed multiple work spaces into one enlarged molecular laboratory, according to a press release.
The renovation included a complete modification of the interior walls and the installation of new floors and ceilings. Crews also modernized the plumbing with new sinks, a safety shower and eye-washing stations as well as updated electrical, HVAC, duct and sprinkler systems.
NeoGenomics specializes in cancer genetics testing and information services. The company provides oncology-focused testing menus for physicians to help them diagnose and treat cancer. The company's Pharma Services Division serves pharmaceutical clients in clinical trials and drug development.
Fort Myers-based NeoGenomics operates laboratories in Fort Myers and Tampa as well as in California, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Switzerland and Singapore.
