The Business Observer and its sister paper the Jacksonville Daily Record are sponsoring a survey to help understand the condition of the region’s businesses and economy as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
Businesses are asked to complete the anonymous survey, which takes about five minutes to complete. It can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/flcovid19
The results of the survey will be published in an upcoming edition of the Business Observer newspaper as well as on BusinessObserverFL.com. The results will also be shared with national, state and local policy makers.
Members of a task force that is focused on how to reopen the economy prepared the survey. Chambers of commerce, economic development corporations and other business organizations on the west coast of Florida and in Greater Jacksonville are co-sponsors of the survey. They also will be asking their members to fill out the survey.
The organizations participating include the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation, the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, the St. Armands Circle Association, the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce, the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce, the Jacksonville Bar Association and NAIOP Northeast Florida.
