ST. PETERSBURG — Theresa Bursey, a 15-year veteran of UBS Financial Services Inc., has been named branch manager of the international wealth management firm’s St. Petersburg office.

Bursey, according to a press release, previously served as assistant market head for UBS’s Gulf Coast division, a role in which she grew the firm’s roster of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. The promotion makes her the St. Petersburg branch’s first-ever female manager.

“I am thrilled to accept this opportunity to join the St. Petersburg office,” Bursey states in the release. “It’s a privilege to work with this talented and dynamic new team. I look forward to collaborating with them in reaching new goals, facing new challenges, and contributing to the overall great work they’ve been doing.”

Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, UBS Group AG does business in 52 countries.

“On behalf of the entire St. Petersburg UBS team, we are excited to welcome Theresa Bursey to this new role,” UBS Market Head Greg Kadet states in the release. “There is no doubt that our highest expectations will be exceeded.”
