Area executive takes helm of national financial services board

Business development principal will chair the American Financial Services Association Business Partner Board.

NAPLES — An executive with a company that provides real-time electronic payment and banking services was named chairwoman of the American Financial Services Association Business Partner Board.

ACI Worldwide, headquartered in Naples, announced the appointment of Darcy Locke to the position in a news release. She was designated at the association’s 103rd Annual Meeting in Nashville Oct. 22.

Locke has been a member of AFSA for more than a decade and has served on the Business Partner Board of Directors for the last four years. She is also part of the Women’s Leadership Council at AFSA, which fosters executive leadership and mentorship of top female talent and shares knowledge to identify, promote and retain female leaders in the financial services industry. 

During her two-year term as chair, Locke will preside over the AFSA Business Partner Board meetings, and concurrently serve as a member of the AFSA Board of Directors and chair of the AFSA Business Partner Task Force.

“It’s an honor to serve as chair alongside some of the industry’s most distinguished professionals, who I have long admired and respected,” Locke says in the release. “I’m excited about the opportunity and look forward to my first official meeting as chair.”
