NAPLES — EHC Inc., a Naples construction company that provides pre-construction, earthwork and infrastructure services, was awarded two new State Road 82 projects, recently completed another SR 82 project, and began development of The Preserve, an active 55-plus community.

All three SR 82 projects are with AJAX Paving for the Florida Department of Transportation, while the Preserve is with Sunshine State Developers Two, according to a news release.

The first SR 82 project is in Lee County, consisting of adding lanes, reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, widening, base work, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, curb and gutters, sidewalks, signing and pavement markings, lighting, and borrow pit construction. The project begins from east of Shawnee Road, easterly approximately 3 miles, to east of Alabama Road in Lee County for a total of over 4 miles.

The second SR 82 project is in Collier County, which starts from Gator Slough Drive for around 3.25 miles to State Road 29. The project includes roadway widening, reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, base work, drainage improvements, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, lighting and adding signing and pavement markings.

The completed SR 82 projects was between Colonial Boulevard through the Daniels Parkway intersection to six lanes.

Finally, Sunshine State Developers Two chose EHC to develop the sales center, offsite improvements and Phase 1 of The Preserve, located in the southwest corner of Desoto County about one mile east of Interstate 75 on Kings Highway.
