'Tis the season...for 40 under 40 publications.

In addition to this week's 40 under 40 issue in the Business Observer, Heat Treat Today, a magazine serving manufacturers across multiple industries with in-house heat-treating capabilities, also recently published its own 40 under 40 issue. Among the winners: Brinson White and Brenton Weiskopf, employees with Naples-based custom wire manufacturer Pelican Wire.

White, who began as an intern in the Pelican Wire Engineering Department during his college years at the University of Central Florida, has been with Pelican Wire since 2012, according to a statement. He's now the director of engineering, with responsibility for all engineering teams at Pelican Wire in their Naples headquarters and at their sister company, Rubadue Wire, in Loveland, Colo.

Weiskopf, who also joined Pelican Wire directly after graduating from UCF, in 2014, is a design engineer and works with customers worldwide to build spec-based wire solutions for a myriad of industries and end-products. The list includes components in aerospace, alternate energy, automotive and numerous industrial applications.

“We’re so pleased to see Brenton and Brinson get this well-deserved recognition. Their individual contributions to the overall success of our entire organization are immense and we consider ourselves fortunate to have professionals of their caliber as part of our team of employee-owners,” Pelican Wire CEO Ted Bill says in the release.

The magazine’s honorees will be recognized at a conference, Heat Treat 19, scheduled for Oct. 17 in Detroit.
