BRADENTON — Craft beer and pizza restaurant Oak & Stone plans to open its downtown Bradenton location on Monday, Dec. 2.
The restaurant is at 1201 First Ave. W,. in the SpringHill Suites hotel.
The newest pub in the Oak & Stone portfolio has a 4,300-square-foot first-floor restaurant, 3,400-square-foot rooftop bar with views of the Manatee River and pet-friendly al fresco dining along 12th Street, according to a press release.
The location has a mix of bar stools, lounge seats and high-top tables with a capacity of 160 downstairs. Oak & Stone’s self-serve beer wall wraps around the room. There are 48 rotating varieties of ciders and American craft beers on tap, with an emphasis on local and regional breweries.
Guests can sit and dine at the pizza bar as their pies are being prepared. Also on the menu are burgers, sandwiches, soups, entrees, tacos and salads. Wines and spirits will also be available.
Dubbed The Deck at Oak & Stone, the eighth-floor rooftop bar has 20 taps for craft beer, cider and wine selections, 12 signature cocktails and a limited menu with light bites and shareable plates. The open-air space incorporates several seating areas with umbrellas, low-top tables and three fire pits for a capacity of 232. The rooftop bar will open a few weeks after the opening of the first-floor restaurant, with a specific date to be announced.
“Our team is very excited to expand into the thriving Bradenton area,” said co-owner Brett Decklever in a statement. “This was the ideal site for the fourth location of Oak & Stone, and The Deck at Oak & Stone will offer the ultimate rooftop experience.”
Hotel guests can enter Oak & Stone and The Deck at Oak & Stone directly through the hotel. To-go in-room service, catering and pool service will be provided by the tavern.
Since its founding in Sarasota in 2016, Oak & Stone has expanded to St. Petersburg, with its second location opening in summer 2018. This year, Oak & Stone opened a third location on Clark Road in Sarasota and its latest location in Bradenton. Construction began in Bradenton in May 2019 by Matthews Construction. A fifth location in Naples is coming soon.
