Cancer treatment network adds new leaders

Health care veterans will help guide growth of nationwide oncology group.

FORT MYERS — American Oncology Network has tapped two new leaders as it continues to expand its offerings.

Steven Swart has been named regional senior vice president and Brian Wall vice president of revenue cycle, according to a statement. The two join AON’s executive team and are tasked to ensure the success of AON practices and physicians across the country, the release adds. 

Swart managed AON’s acquisition and partnership with Zangmeister Cancer Center in Ohio, where he served as executive director. With more than 30 years of experience, he brings extensive financial and operational expertise. Previously, he served as CEO of the Robert C. Byrd Clinic at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W. Va. Wall, who most recently was director of practice improvement at Envision Healthcare, has more than 10 years of experience in health care account and revenue cycle management.

Founded in 2017, Fort Myers-based American Oncology Network is an alliance of physicians and experienced health care leaders partnering to ensure the success of community oncology.
