Shipping company hires chief people officer

Justin Pinchback joins BlueGrace Logistics after a nationwide search.

RIVERVIEW — BlueGrace Logistics, a shipping company with more than 600 employees and 10,00 clients nationwide, named Justin Pinchback chief people officer.

According to a press release, Pinchback comes to Riverview-based BlueGrace from Citadel, a Chicago financial services company. At BlueGrace, he will be responsible for talent acquisition, talent development, employee engagement and human resources, and he will report directly to CEO Bobby Harris. The company had $332 million in revenue in 2018. 

"We conducted a nationwide search for the most talented executive available, and we are extremely pleased to add Justin Pinchback to our team,” Harris states in the release. “His experience in recruiting and developing the best and brightest candidates across the United States will serve BlueGrace well as we look to double our employee base and achieve our goal to become a multibillion-dollar company.”

Pinchback, the release states, earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and has also worked for Bain & Co.

“I am excited to join BlueGrace Logistics, a company that services thousands of businesses by providing proprietary technology and world-class service,” Pinchback states in the release. “As we look to hire young, entrepreneurial college graduates in Tampa, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and our other offices around the country, I will be searching for candidates who can bring energy and expertise to augment the dynamic culture that exists at BlueGrace.”
