TAMPA — Salt Shack On the Bay, Tampa’s newest waterfront restaurant, will open to the public on July 1, offering bay views, gulf-to-table food and a casual bar scene.
The grand opening is the culmination of a collaboration between local real estate developer Screamin’ Willy’s LLC and experienced restaurateurs.
According to a press release, general contractor the Sinclair Group has a 25-year history of building restaurants throughout Tampa Bay. The restaurant’s overall branding, interior design and website design is the work of St. Petersburg-based Clear ph Design.
The project, which the developer describes as a “rustic-refined beach getaway,” broke ground October 2018 and was completed in June 2019, the release states. The island-inspired menu features seasonal Caribbean cuisine, fresh-caught seafood and tropical cocktails.
Salt Shack on the Bay is at 5415 Tyson Ave. in Tampa.
