NAPLES — The Collier Building Industry Association has a new associate director with the promotion of Amelia Vasquez, who for the past seven years has served as CBIA’s director of member services, leading many of the organization’s programs and events including general membership meetings, mixers, the Parade of Homes and Sand Dollar Awards.
“Amelia’s outstanding leadership and communications skills, coupled with her team spirit, have helped create an exceptional environment among our staff, leadership and membership,” says CBIA Executive Vice President Kathy Curatolo in a statement. “In her new role, she will work more closely with the CBIA leadership in providing effective advocacy, educational programming and networking opportunities for members.”
Founded in 1985, CBIA is an association of more than 450 builders, remodelers, interior designers and other housing industry professionals. It is one of 800 state and local associations and operates under the auspices of the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
