TAMPA — Hotel development and management firm McKibbon Hospitality has welcomed Joe Taggart as its new CFO.
Taggart comes to the Tampa-based firm — which works with iconic brands such as Marriott, Hilton Hyatt — from Valley National Bank and its predecessor, USAmeriBank, where he worked for 12 years as senior vice president and Florida commercial real estate manager. At Valley, he oversaw a CRE portfolio valued at more than $2.1 billion.
“We are excited about Joe joining our team and the wealth of knowledge he brings to our growing company,” states John McKibbon, chairman of McKibbon Hospitality, in a press release. “He is a tremendous asset and will strengthen our disciplines as we continue to grow.”
Taggart’s banking and finance career also includes experience at Arthur Andersen and Colonial Bank, the release states.
