Contractor awarded utility operations center expansion

Stevens Construction will build addition to Bonita Springs Utilities facility. It will be the fourth project Stevens has constructed for the utility.

BONITA SPRINGS — Stevens Construction has been awarded the construction management services contract for Bonita Springs Utilities’ Operations Service Center at 11500 Operations Way.

Stevens will build a 10,020-square-foot addition to the existing 22,420-square-foot operations center built in 2008, according to a statement. Slated for completion in winter 2020, the expanded building will provide additional warehouse storage, six rooms for conditioned storage, a paint booth, chemical storage and covered parking.

Stevens Construction has completed three projects for Bonita Springs Utilities, including a 6,450-square-foot customer service center and a 19,000-square-foot, two-story, administrative building in 2017, the release states 

Headquartered in Fort Myers with offices in Tampa and Orlando, Stevens Construction specializes in construction management, general contracting and consulting services to clients and design professionals for health care, commercial and hospitality facilities. Services include site and design team selection, budgeting, project scheduling, permitting, cost and quality control and warranty service.
