TAMPA — An investment banking team led by Beth Cahill, formerly senior managing director of CEA Group, has joined Skyway Capital Markets, a Tampa-based boutique investment firm.
Cahill, according to a press release, will assume the role of senior managing director at Skyway. Her team includes Michael Johnson, another CEA Group veteran, who will be the firm’s managing director.
Cahill and Johnson bring a great deal of experience in mergers and acquisitions to Skyway, the release states. The duo have been involved in refinancing in the insurance sector, acquisition growth capital for a health care services firm and the sale of an asphalt milling company.
“We continue enhancing the value of our firm,” Skyway Capital Markets CEO Russ Hunt states in the release. “Beth and her team have a successful history of providing strong, corporate financial services for a variety of companies and we look forward to supporting their continued efforts.”
Cahill, in the release, adds, “We are extremely pleased to join Skyway Capital Markets. Our singular goal together is to be successful on behalf of our clients. We believe in the long-term vision of Skyway and are excited about helping to achieve that vision.”
