Commercial developer hires new marketing and sales director

NAPLES — A Naples-based commercial and residential developer has hired a new director of marketing and sales who comes with 16 years of experience in Collier County’s residential construction industry.

Connor & Gaskins Unlimited LLC and CGU Homes LLC appointed Barbie Kellam to the position. She will be tasked with maintaining and executing all marketing initiatives, both locally and nationally, as well as bringing new business to the company, according to a news release.

A native of Naples, Kellam started her career when she joined the Collier Building Industry Association. This led to her position as sales director with BCB Homes Inc., also in Naples. There, she worked in the sales, marketing and real estate arena, ultimately becoming an executive of the luxury home-building firm.

Launched in 2010 by Barry Connor and Craig Gaskins, Connor & Gaskins Unlimited specializes in general contracting, developing, design building construction and construction management. The Collier County-based team takes on commercial projects, such as luxury condominiums and resort hotels, medical facilities and clubhouses. Additionally, CGU Homes, under the leadership of Vice President Jon Lawrence, has built more than 100 new homes, as well as home and condo remodeling projects.
