CAPE CORAL — One of the fastest-growing real estate brokerages in Southwest Florida is expanding, with a new office in Cape Coral.

The firm, Bonita Springs-based Southwest Florida R.E. Group, has increased the number of transactions and agents by more than 300% from 2017 to 2018, according to a statement. The new office — near the Cape Coral Parkway bridge — will help accommodate the growth and match the needs of agents and clients, th release states.

Using sophisticated digital marketing tools that monitor web traffic, the firm projects home sales in Cape Coral will skyrocket in the next three to five years. “We already have a number of agents in the Cape and plan on expanding our team by more than 50% over the next six months,” Southwest Florida R.E. Group co-founder Alex Greenwood says in the statement. “For some time we’ve been monitoring the Cape and have continued to have our home sales and listings projections exceeded by the amount of people moving to and around the Cape Coral area. Additionally we’ve been monitoring permit issuance and Cape Coral continues to be No. 1 both locally and nationally.”

The firm is renovating the space and the office will be open for business by the middle of August, the release states.

“Alex and I know the new location will help us expand even further north and we have more exciting plans for 2020,” co-founder Scott Riddle says in the release. “We’re already dominating in Bonita Springs and Naples, and look forward to bringing even better service to our existing and new Cape Coral clients."
