SARASOTA — Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation appointed Robert Pettit as vice president of finance and operations.
Previously, Pettit was assistant director of corporate finance for Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood and senior financial auditor at Baptist Health South Florida in Miami, according to a press release. He began his career at Ernst & Young LLP as a senior auditor.
“He has a wealth of experience in various health care financial roles," says Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation President Mason Ayres in the statement. "Adding that to his operational expertise, we’re confident he will be a huge asset to our growing organization.”
Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation is the philanthropic partner of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System. For over 40 years, it has provided grants to enhance patient care, facilities, technology, and support clinical education and medical research.
