CLEARWATER — KnowBe4, a cybersecurity firm that specializes in anti-phishing awareness and training, has hired Matthew McNulty as senior vice president of international sales.

According to a press release, McNulty will lead the Clearwater-based firm’s efforts to grow revenue from and form partnerships with customers and partners around the world. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, having most recently worked in a senior executive role for Tribridge.

“Matthew McNulty has an impressive background in sales, with a proven track record of growth and success for two and a half decades,” KnowBe4 CEO Stu Sjouwerman states in the release. “His experience in sales leadership, strategic sales growth, performance optimization, customer success/retention and leading and developing teams made him the ideal candidate for this position. He’s a natural fit for our organization and I look forward to welcoming him to the KnowBe4 family.”

KnowBe4 grew to $120 million in sales last year, nearly double its $62 million in revenue in 2017. In late February, it closed on an acquisition that provides an entry into South America, buying Brazil-based El Pescador. KnowBe4 also has offices in England, the Netherlands, Germany, South Africa and Singapore.

“What excited me most about KnowBe4 was the vision and focus and well as the positive energy and unstoppable drive to succeed,” McNulty states in the release. “I had been watching the company for about a year and when the opportunity to help lead the continued growth overseas came up, I had to jump at it. I am proud and excited to be a part of this awesome team.”
