TAMPA — Kristen Murphy has joined Carlton Fields’ Tampa office as a transactional attorney in the firm’s national health care practice.

Coming to Carlton Fields from Smith Hulsey & Busey in Jacksonville, Murphy is just the latest addition to the firm’s rapidly growing health care practice. Four other attorneys — Jonathan "Tre" Dixon, Marguerita Sims, Emil Hirsch and Megan Dhillon — also joined in the past few months.

According to a press release, Murphy has represented a wide range of health care clients including physicians, group practices, hospitals, managed care plans, health systems, health care clinics, nursing homes, transitional living facilities and continuing care retirement communities.

The release states she is experienced in negotiating and drafting employment, professional services, independent contractor, physician recruitment, management, operation transfer and business associate agreements.
