Cancer surgery center earns top ranking

Shipley Cardiothoracic Center only facility in Florida and one of six in the U.S. to earn 3-star rating.

FORT MYERS — Lee Health’s Shipley Cardiothoracic Center has been awarded a 3-star rating, the highest possible, by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons for lobectomy, a lung cancer procedure that removes a portion of the lung.
