FORT MYERS — Amy McQuagge has joined Sanibel Captiva Community Bank as the new vice president and director of marketing.

“Amy will be a tremendous asset to the bank as we continue expanding our operations and brand in Lee County,” says Lee Golden, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank senior vice president and director of retail operations, in a statement

McQuagge was previously senior marketing and event manager for the Lee County Economic Development Office, spearheading department marketing efforts and events, promoting department services for local expanding businesses and entrepreneurs, and attracting new business.

From 2008 to 2015, she co-owned a full-service company specializing in exercise-based fundraising events, raising nearly $1 million to benefit public and private schools in Lee and Collier counties, the release states. Prior to that, she worked at several advertising firms as a media buyer negotiating contracts in top 20 media markets for national and regional clients.
