Business recruiting board reappoints ad industry executive

Ed Bolter to remain on seven-member Lee County Industry Development Authority.

FORT MYERS — Ed Bolter has been re-appointed to the Lee County Industry Development Authority, a seven-member board, appointed by Lee County Commissioners, tasked with fostering industrial and business development.

Through industrial development revenue bonds, the IDA provides a source of long-term, below-market-rate financing for new and expanding manufacturing facilities, according to a statement. 

Bolter is general manager of Lamar Advertising Fort Myers.

Board members include Chairwoman Robbie Roepstorff; Vice Chairman Wayne Kirkwood; Secretary David Barton; Treasurer Bolter, Assistant Secretary Gail Markham; Assistant Secretary Tom Hoolihan; and Doug Gyure.
