SARASOTA — A Siesta Key home purchase has become the highest sale on the barrier island for 2018 and the third highest in Sarasota County in 2018, according to a press release. It sold for $5.85 million.
The property is at 16 Sandy Hook Road South. It was represented by Kim Ogilvie of Sarasota-based brokerage Michael Saunders & Co. Anja Deichmann, also of Michael Saunders & Co., represented the buyers.
The custom-built waterfront estate has a private beach, guest house and outdoor spaces with Gulf of Mexico views.
“The sale of this estate on Siesta Key affirms what we have seen in the luxury real estate market over the last year: buyers are looking to fall in love with a location and find a residence that affords a unique experience,” says Michael Saunders & Co. Founder and CEO Michael Saunders in a statement.
Ogilvie has been the top-producing agent in the Sarasota Board of Realtors for single-family residences over $1 million on Siesta Key since January 2010, according to the release. In that time, she's amassed $136,597,000 in sales volume.
