SARASOTA — IberiaBank has added two leaders to its Sarasota team — Kimberly Hopper, senior vice president, private banking relationship manager, and Brad Severson, vice president, commercial banking relationship manager.

According to a press release, Hopper started her banking career in Bradenton in 1986. Before joining IberiaBank, she was senior vice president, Sarasota city president for Regions Bank.

At IberiaBank, Hopper will handle business development of professional high net worth people and their businesses.

"Over the last six months, we have made a significant investment in expanding our Sarasota and Bradenton team," says IberiaBank Market President Brandon Box in a statement. "Kim will be our first private banking manager located full-time in the market. We see tremendous potential to grow this division, and she was the ideal candidate to take on this leadership role."

Severson has been a banker in Sarasota for over 30 years. He will work with professional firms and middle market companies to provide working capital, owner-occupied mortgage loans and trade-related lines of credit.

Box says, "He will bring a tremendous amount of in-market knowledge and connectivity to help us expand and retain our commercial portfolio."

IberiaBank is a subsidiary of IberiaBank Corp. The financial holding company has branch offices in Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas, Florida, Georgia, New York and South Carolina.
