ST. PETERSBURG — Former UBS financial advisors Dean Dancer, T.J. Goelz, Steven Grossman and Joe Malave have joined Raymond James and will be part of the Raymond James & Associates Suncoast Complex, based in Sarasota.

At UBS, the four advisors managed more than $480 million in client assets, according to a press release. At RJA, they will collectively operate as the Palm Avenue Wealth Advisory Group of Raymond James and report to Chris Fils, who was recently hired away from Morgan Stanley to manage RJA’s Suncoast Complex.

Joining the advisors are additional new hires Pamela Miller, senior registered client service associate, and Blake Caldwell, registered client service associate, the release states.

“We’re proud that Raymond James continues to be the premier destination for advisors who share our client-first values and who are looking for a firm that offers advisors a unique combination of support and freedom to run their business,” states Patrick O’Connor, RJA’s Florida regional director, in the release.

“What attracted us to Raymond James were the culture and the firm’s commitment to book ownership,” Goelz states in the release. “Raymond James has the resources and support we need to grow our business and best serve our clients, but what really stood out to us was the firm’s focus on supporting the advisor-client relationship, rather than the firm-client relationship.”
