LAKEWOOD RANCH — Lakewood Ranch-based Halfacre Construction Co. has named two new partners — Reed Giasson and Tom Rees.
Giasson and Rees will work with Halfacre President Jack Cox.
Giasson has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined Halfacre 18 years ago as a carpenter, advancing to lead estimator, field superintendent, project manager and vice president. He is the team leader for manufacturing and industrial projects. Past projects include Marina Jack renovations, Siesta Key Village beautification, Punta Gorda and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport towers and Sun Hydraulics’ manufacturing facility,
Rees has over 14 years of experience in construction and project operations. He joined Halfacre 14 years ago as an assistant project manager. He will supervise the company's educational projects in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, Collier and Hillsborough counties. Past projects include educational facilities throughout Florida, The Loveland Center Villages, MacDill Air Force Base and Caldwell Trust’s Venice headquarters.
“Reed and Tom have been phenomenal assets since they joined the team at Halfacre Construction so many years ago, and I am pleased to have them take on this new role as our firm grows and prepares for the future,” says Cox in a statement.
Halfacre has 30 employees at its Lakewood Ranch office.
