LAKEWOOD RANCH — Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder Neal Communities sold 103 new homes in April.
According to a press release, the sales were in neighborhoods from Hillsborough to Collier counties. Year-to-date the homebuilder has sold 439 homes, representing a more than 5% increase from last year.
The company's luxury custom homes division, Neal Signature Homes, sold seven homes in April. In Neal's southern division, which includes Lee and Collier counties, the company sold 25 homes.
"A bulk of buyers continue to choose a new move-in-ready home compared to a home on the resale market," says Neal Communities Vice President of Sales Carlos Puente in a statement. "Our model centers have seen continuous walk-in traffic despite the typical springtime decline in visitors."
Neal Communities has built over 13,000 homes in Southwest Florida.
