SARASOTA — The Baltimore Orioles drew 103,294 fans for 15 home spring training baseball games in Sarasota this season.

According to a press release, it's the eighth time in nine seasons the Orioles have hosted more than 100,000 fans at Ed Smith Stadium.

The team had six sellout games this season. On average, it welcomed 6,886 fans per game. It finished among the top teams in Grapefruit League attendance.

The statement also says since moving Major League operations to Sarasota, 988,349 fans have attended Orioles spring training games.
