TAMPA — IberiaBank Mortgage Co., a subsidiary of IberiaBank Corp., named Tony Umholtz senior vice president.

According to a press release, Umholtz has more than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry and will also serve as IberiaBank's mortgage lending manager for the Tampa market.

Prior to joining IBERIABANK, Umholtz served as vice president of SunTrust Mortgage. He is a former USF football player and also played professionally with the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants and New England Patriots.

Umholtz's new role, the release states, will task him with growing the company's mortgage market share by working with local realtors, builders and homebuyers in the Tampa Bay region.

“Tony is a very well respected mortgage lender in the Tampa Bay area,” states Jeff Kaufman, IberiaBank Mortgage senior vice president, in the statement. “His considerable experience will support our future growth in Tampa and the entire IberiaBank Mortgage Division.”
