FORT MYERS — Emser Tile, a Los Angeles-based designer, marketer and producer of high-end tile and natural stone, has opened its first Southwest Florida location with a showroom and store in Fort Myers.
The location, 12014 Metro Parkway, is the company's sixth Florida store and No. 73 in North America, according to a statement. Emser Tile also recently opened locations in Tampa, Pompano and Miami. The company also recently signed a lease for a new 216,000-square-foot distribution center in Sawgrass, set to open later this year, the release adds.
The Fort Myers opening, say company officials in the release, stems from continued exponential growth in the Florida market. “We are thrilled that growth in the Southwest Florida area has enabled new opportunities for Emser and our partners,” says Emser Tile vice president of marketing Barbara Haaksma in the statement.
Emser Tile was founded 50 years ago.
