Ryan Benson is the new president of the Collier Builders Industry Association.

NAPLES — Ryan Benson, principal with A. Vernon Allen Builder, has been named president of the Collier Building Industry Association.

The CBIA is a nonprofit professional association of industry professionals involved in advocacy, education, networking and philanthropy, according to a statement. It represents the collective voice of the Collier County building industry.

Benson is involved in a number of organizations. He is a delegate on the boards of directors of the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders for 2018. He also chairs the CBIA’s Government Affairs Committee, the release states. He is past president of Naples Gulfshore Sunset Rotary, vice chairman of the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County and is a trustee for Canterbury School.

A 16-year veteran of the construction industry, Benson was a finalist for the National Association of Home Builders Young Professionals’ Award.
